picked up a 91 hatch that had a dohc zc in it for dirt cheap got a extra head and fresh block with it.. now i recently found out that the whole for the belt tensinor is messed up so i might have to helicoil it or redrill it..now i was thinking wether i should just use that motor or go through and build the fresh block i intend on boring ether one .20 and was also wondering if i should just run the bottom end kit from fjdistributors?..i am shooting for atlest 320whp.. as for the head i am just gunna run a OEM head gasket and new oem valves with some mild valve springs and retainers..i have ordered some of my fuel some just ordered walbro 255 fuel pump with some adjustable fuel regulator.and next was gunna get some 880cc injectors..as for the cams not to sure what i am doing with them but will be getting the head cleaned in all the ports..now i have no decided on a turbo yet but prolly something along the lines of a .57trim.. if you guys are interested in my build feel free to post i don't need to be critizied on here just a simple correction will do..or if any one that has built a bottom end on these and boosted help would be appriciated heres the head i will be using

 

anyone with a boosted zc got any input here? or what anyone else is running for internals?

 

on bisimotos 700+ hp sohc vtec boosted d series motor he was using arias piston and i cant remember wich rods he was also runnig bisimoto cams compact tuner did a test on like 10 diff cams with the same set up the bisimoto cams had like 30 hp more than all of them he was also using a cometic head gasket

 

well i have already ordered a oem head gasket and i was wondering if there was a certien piston they use for boosting on the DOHC zc cuz i know the bottom end is all d-series and i am working on getting my block bord .20 over so i can run like 75.5mm or possibly 76mm

 

just ordered my manifold..next will be injectors and fuel rail..and oil lines as well as tapping the oil pan. suppose i would get most other stuff done befor i start my bottom end building
