well not sure if a few of you seen it but i recently had brake problems i ended up taking it to a shop to get fixed.. probleme solved now today car was running great so we're driving home all of sudden we hit a stop light waiting, mind you the A/c is full blast car is neutral and then when the light hit green car is DEAD.... i had to restart and keep the RPMS above 1,000 so what would you all think the problem is? needs a tune up? MAF sensor? or what any help will be appreciated.. Del Sol gods chime in i know this must have happen to at least one of you. Once again thanks for any info

theres is definetly a check engine light it goes on and off since ive bought the car in december, guy i bought it from says its the pcv valve and thats it. as for this problem this just started today...

Well, PCV valve can cause Oil leaks in main seals, oil pan seals. I'd just start by replacing the 3$ Part. Then go from there.

no... i dont believe it to be leaking... but once again im just curious as to what would make the car stall so quietly and gentley that i wouldnt know until i try gasing the accelerater

 

I'll risk repeating myself -- pull the CEL codes and clean the IACV!

it was PO441 which leads me to believe its that pcv valve... can anyone show me a pic of where the valve is located? its a 96 del sol si

 

EVAP system problem. Start by checking all the vacuum lines.
