Default innovative alternator relocator help

i just installed the innovative alternator relocator on my h23 and have the issue of the belt rubbing against the plastic timing cover...any ideas? i'm sure it's in the correct spot, don't know if it's a flaw with my particular mount or if i'm doing something wrong. thanks for any help.

looks good brian.

since i spy a bolt missing holding the timing cover on, are you sure its not missing a couple more, making the cover not seated properly??

is that you nick? but anyway i removed a few of those bolts to peek behind the cover to see what the bump was covering, which appears to be the balance shaft gear i believe. it doesn't seem like the cover moves back anymore but i'll give that a try. good eye

i believe it is the balance shaft, on the bracket there are two sets of holes: one set for running the balance shaft and to the right for no balance shaft. innovative is closed on sat and sun so if i can't figure it out soon i'll give them a call on monday.
