That second grille looks like it's a '99-'00 Si or Type R grille.

You could get the same effect by getting a '96-'98 Type R grille.

Cutting your grille out instead makes it easy for someone to pop your hood. DIY grilles are cheap and often fall apart.

 

I agree looks like 99-00 si.

I have a ebay grill (ctr Knock off) looks pretty good, (to me) but doesnt fit the best, noithing to bad, but isnt a oem fit.
