Default custom spring rates

i posted this in the integra forum but i think it might be better suited for this forum now so here it goes again--

i'm going to be roadracing/autocrossing the DA and need a stiffer spring than what I currently have, which is ground control coilovers. I will be mating the new spring to koni yellows that have a modified shorter shock rod. I am wondering what all of you that have had springs custom made had the spring rate set at? The manufacturer will be eibach- their ERS line. Any advice on how to calculate the best spring rate for my application as well as your previous history or knowledge is greatly appreciated

Trial and Error is the best way to do it. I'm on my 3rd 'spring rate' setup and still trying to decide if I like it.

search, search, search!

There are so many threads on this. There is even a current poll on what people are using. Scott even did some calc's for Karl. Look for it under motion ratios. Remember, just because Curly, Larry & Moe are using this or that, it doesn't mean it will work well for you. A lot depends on driver experience & skill.
