Default HELP ASAP!!!: DISTRIBUTOR QUESTION!!!

So i was recently in an accident and i smashed sideways pretty hard, passenger side. Anyways, the distributor smashed into the battery pushing the distributor into the motor. The cap was destroyed and it seems to have pushed the rotor and shaft out.. the part that goes into the cam was pushed out a 1/4" and i hammered it back against the distributor housing. The shaft and everything seem to be in working order. I have no car to test this in as i am trying to throw the crashed motor into my other ef and am replacing the damaged goods outside the car.

any info would be greatly appreciated, and also would the shaft poping out push the cam any?

I think either the dist bolt would be pushed out and break or the cam move something had to give and that 1/4 had to go some where. Take off valve cover and view and check the came end seal on cam shaft gl.
