Okay, hmm im a lil tipsy right now haha.. but i've searched through recent threads and couldn't find anything pertaining to my question so, I was wondering what grit sand paper to use to get the clear coat/paint off my bumper and side moldings since they are plastic i have no clue i dont wanna stratch it or anything, but after that i would like to spray paint them black so should i use SEM black? I heard it was pretty decent.. just let me know! thanks yo.

There's no such thing as sanding your bumper and not scratching it....that's what sand paper does. If you're looking to sand all of the paint and clear off, down to the plastic, I would go over the entire thing with 180, and then primer it, then go over that with 320, if you break through primer, then primer again, and final sand with 400. then paint it. If the paint isn't in bad condition, you could always just sand that with 400 and then seal it, and paint right over that. SEM is good, but anything in a can will never be as good as something that comes out of a spray gun.
