i just used a complete clutch off of a d15b2 on a z6 block and it worked fine. if your motor is out its gonna be hard to keep it from cranking over while loosening and tightening all them bolts so what i did was got a short small screwdriver and put it through a hole in the flywheel and it will catch on the block eliminating the problem. when i did it i used a pattern similiar to tightening lugs. then once the flywheel is on use your alignment tool and torque the pressure plate and you should be in business! and i think i used a 10mm on the pressure plate and a 17mm on the flywheel. ..my bad i didnt see that about the different flywheel.. that i dont know.

i don't have a flywheel... well i do but i dont know what year my current d15b2 is lol maybe a 89 or 90 idk. That's why im asking.. i thought it would best if i kept it all the same year.. that true?

It is best if you keep it in the same year to avoid any confusion. If that flywheel is 89, then YES it will fit with that 88 clutch kit that you have, in that 88 tranny. However, if that flywheel is 90, then NO, that flywheel will NOT work with the 88 clutch kit and 88 tranny.
