Pioneer shopping
Looking for a reliable source to buy the Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD. Something like Crutchfield.com, which has it listed for 499.99. Anyone have any good stores out there?
I've got a brand new Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD which is pretty similar.
I haven't posted it up here on Honda-Tech but you can check it out over at v6performance

Buy only from authorized retail or on-line dealers, it is the only way to be sure you are getting the real thing, not a refurb, sold for salvage or knock off and only way to get manufactures warranty, Crutchfield is an authorized on-line dealer for everything they sell. 94
True, if you can buy new retailed price, i would suggest to do it. You'll get a full warranty from an authorized dealer. However, if you compare retail to non-authorized dealer, i'm sure you'll realize that had if the unit would break, you would still be saving money buying from a non-authorized dealer. You can usually find a 30% discount.
As for refurbished products, they will always come in brown boxes and be stamped Refurbished on the unit, that's how you can tell. I've never seen any fake knock off Pioneer, or Alpine stuff or salvage, so i'm not sure what fcm is talking about.
