Default Help wiTh 92 GSR B17a

Whats up guys ? I have a 92 Gsr . mods include, short ram intake, DC headers, port and polished head, STR adustable cam gears, fuel pressure regulator. It seems that my car has a bad bog when it gets warmer. I will try and accelerate and at around 2500-3000k RPM it starts to bog REALLY bad. BUt when the car is cold, it rips and can chirp 3rd easy. It had an MSD ignition and coil and cap. My mechanic took it off thinking that it was the problem. BUt its still bogging. Timing was checked out and cam gears set to 0. Then he thought it was the fuel system. he messed with the fuel pressure regulator but still nothing. The car also has a new fuel pump and filter. Any one have any idea what it could be? Could it be sucking too much hot air?Should I replace my short ram intake with a cold air intake?? The car also has new radiator,O2 sensor ,IACV. Also when it starts to bog. the exhaust seems to get louder when its bogging. Any help would be appreciated

Get rid of the shortram intake and put your stock airbox back in.

im gna have to agree with V on this one, i think your stock airbox would work better with the setup your using.

Yeah . It had an MSD sportcompact ignition, blaster 2 coil MSD cap and some aftermarket wires. The mechanic that I brought the car to took all that off and put new stock coil and cap but he left the after market wires. The car runs a little better but stillhas this bad bog

8000KReV, have you ever had the problem from 4000rpm and up?

You say you had the head ported, who did it? After putting the head on did you have the car tuned on a dyno? Also what fuel pump are you using? If it is a 255 pump you need to run an AEM FPR. It sound to me like a bad port job or your tuning is off.
