Driver Axle to long.... PLEASE HELP!!!
Ok, so i had both axles that was making noise so I decided to replace both axles.. I went ahead and ordered axles for a 90 Integra ls. The reason I did that was because I have a GSR swapped into my 90 Civic Si. So, when I go to install the axles.... Passenger side goes in perfect and driver does not fit. Ends up being they sent me the wrong one because it had an ABS ring that could not be removed. After they send me a non ABS axle. I go to install it and goes on enough where i can put the rest of the car back together. However, when I drive the car the axle is so compressed that it actually pushes the engine causing a hell of a vibration at the smallest amounts of speed. Any Help is appreciated... I think I have tried everything. Is there another axle that might work?

BlasterMan you are the ****!!!! In other words THANKS A MILLION!!!! As soon as I say your reply I went on craigslislt and found a guy selling the half shaft for 30 dollars. I picked up went back to my shop and installed it. I was so happy to be able to drive my car again. It was the only thing that I needed to finally get my car going.
Its been a year since I drove it because I decided to do a wire tuck, change my axles (they were clicking), restore interior, convert everything in my GSR into Type R (piston, rods, springs, cams), and Skunk 2 Manifold and 68 mm throttle body.
The car is running hard as ****!!
Thanks again I owe you one.
