So I got an 01 hx and the high beams don't work so I thought maybe this model didn't come with them for some reason but my gf said she got them to turn on once but only the one time no more I've checked the fuses and this is the third set of bulbs so I'm kinda stumped here any ideas/help will be appreciated

 

try doing a charging test cuz something is overcharging

 

Thanks but I've never heard of a charging test what is that exactly?

 

take to your local auto parts store so they can check the charging system...they do it for free, im telling you cuz i had the sam problem with mine, but mine is a ex and it was the alternator was overcharging

the problem I had was when I xenon lights i week later they blew up but with the halogen they worked fine so i had to change my alternator cuz it was overcharging, thats what was causing the problem. but let me ask u this the high on your light...is the light blown or it just doesnt work on the car

 

I started with the bulbs that came in the car and the highs never worked but I've put two sets of ultra white bulbs in and they still haven't worked,and by the way thanks

 

well i had that problem to that my lows work but not my highs.....the broblem is the switch my friend the harness and switch got burnt so ur prolly gonna have to replace those...try looking at it bro open the steering wheel colum and u should be able to see that its burnt

 

Well I've heard that the low beam is a factory re call and you should be able to have that replaced at honda for free,I will take a look at the the switch and harness but if it burned up I would assume something else would have burned up also but thanks
