Hey Peeps,

I have a pretty pronounced hum coming from my car (tires) when I am doing about 80. It is a low frequency hum, rather annoying. I am going to check the tire pressure after work, but do you guys have any idea on what else it could be?

Some tires are louder than others. What kind of tires are they?

 

It is just the brand of tires.

 

the tires could be cupped.. that always causes a lame hum.

You are either rubbing something, or you did cup your tires. Was your car parked in the same spot for like a week?

 

No it wasn't that .. my tires are not cupped, I drive my car everyday. Maybe I am just noticing it more now ... I could be low on air though. I did rotate my tires from back to front, that is when I started noticing the noise ...
