Cheapest place to buy hondata
Cheapest bet for you would probably be to try and find someone selling a used one. Maybe on craigslist or something, because as stated above...most companies tend to sell hondata at about the same price.
That's how I got my Flashpro. Used is definitely cheaper. Plus it's not exactly a wear and tear item so it's really rare you'll get one that's spoilt due to usage I guess.
In the end you really shouldn't be able to save a ton of money on a FP. I mean, it's not exactly something like an intake or an exhaust that go through wear and tear etc. For someone to sell on cheaper than what they paid is just to be able to get rid of the part really. I paid $670 for mine and would probably sell it for 600.

Joe at Locashracing.com has sold them for $599 in the past and has offered them at retail price with free Hondata gasket and free shipping too. I can sell you one for $650 shipped brand new. The only way you will get the best deal is to call a leading Hondata retailer and negotiate by phone. Shopping via the web will only net you MAP pricing and free shipping. But Locash racing will give you the best deal as he is was the 1st Hondata dealer.
Wow... Those prices are crazy high... Slowmotion Motor Sports in Columbus offers the S300 for $425. Hell, Hondata themselves list it for $495...
This might be a stupid question but I dont know so here it goes... I bought hondata from a guy and it was listed on the site for a 06+ SI, well I got the tracking info and it says 06+ s2000. Does Hondata work for both? Or is the guy sending me the wrong thing?
S2000 application is different.
Like someone said, if you can get the hardware for an OBD1 vehicle to work on a CAN/BUS ECU you'd be the ultimate tuner! Hell, maybe the VTEC guys can convert their VTEC system to an i-VTEC system just with the Flashpro!
i think its the same thing. because my fp has s2k calibrations on it. as long as its obd2 and has the maps for the fg/fa, you should have no problem. just make sure you download the fp manager for the 06+ civic from the hondata site unless the disc it comes with has it.
minus the numerous plroblems of it not recognizing the car, failing to upload, and screens going out, and people switching to fp since hondata offers the $250 + your accessport for a brand new fp hahaha
Guys, you aren't going to get the best price by shopping the web, you are going to have to call. Authorized dealers are restricted from advertising or listing Hondata products below a certain price, it's call MAP which stands for Minimum Advertised Price. The dealers are bound by this policy but they can sell it for whatever they want to in a private sale over the phone via email or a walk in customer.
The only way you may be able to get a good deal on a FlashPro unit shopping the web is buying from a unauthorized dealer. If something goes wrong it will be a big hassle getting warranty coverage, that's even if the seller chooses to help you out after the sale.
I'd like to add that Locash Racing was the very 1st dealer for Hondata so he will have the best discount on their products.
