Default 92 civic with gsr A/C question.

Hey everyone. I have a 92 hatch with a gsr swap and im wanting to put a/c back in it. Did the 92's still use r12 systems? or will i be able to just get all the a/c stuff out of any eg and just put it in and charge it with r134?

thanks for the help guys.

92's used r12 and they can be converted to r134a, theres a thread on here showing how to do it properly. Or you can get ALL the AC parts out of a 94-95 civic and put them in your car and have a complete r134a system

r12 is pretty much fazed out afaik. In other words good luck finding parts, r12 itself, or someone to work on it for you. There is a kit for r134a, which allows you to change things over pretty easily.
