life and what to do..... help guys
ok well i have my own problems as does everyone.. and i know others are worst or even just plain out ungodly... but i have thought to sell the 96 accord, all parts, engines and buy a 92 or so car... i have my own bills and problems.. and i think why do i do all this.. why do i spent all my hard earned money on a "HOBBY". where i live all we have is a 8th mile track. and there is no money in it.. i cant join a big nopi circuit and run for a living.. i guess i could sell this stuff pay off debt and college. Instead of buying parts and turbo's and engine stuff. put money away to take care of myself and get a house and settle down.. ohhahaha mid life crisis at 22. Cause we all know. your never "DONE" and your never happy.
what to do. or what have you guys done to calm down the Import Rush

spend more money? i dunno..i guess i could goto a casino and **** away money without getting anything back but to **** money and have my accord suffer from improvement at the same time........AWESOME.
I do want a crotchrocket but I could not trust myself on one.

What about all of the fun when your all alone on the highway and drop it into 3rd and take off (Don't flame -You know you have done this)?
It's a hobby period. I know what you are saying though. It's a hobby that turns into an obsession and you start sinking all of money into it and the you realize that you still need more...It never ends. This was how I was until my recent setbacks with my DAMN wheels coming off(GRRRR
). But now I'm just going to take it easy and save for my H22 Swap...I do miss working on the car though...and I really need a turbo for that H22...and a whole new suspension...a carbon fiber hood too...now I need CF fenders also.. AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Like Brian, I am now into bikes, just got my motorcycle license. Soon to be looking for a bike for me to waste more $ on. It never ends
Sell it. Buy a 92 Sentra SE-R, pay your debts. Earn some money, buy a Prelude.
tony is actually the one who got me thinking. he has a SE-R and has a garage full of stuff .. Sr20det *three of em* turbo kits and just about all you need to have it pushing 500hp easy and he is going to sell it all.. now

Getting into Nissan has been on my mind a lot lately. My brother has a 93 240SX he's been workin on for the longest... hes got a SR20DET ready to go in it.. and only has like 800 in the engine which pisses me off.
Honda engine prices are just so annoying, and the returns on investment are low IMO ... SE-R w/ SR20DET =

The biggest problems you have is whether or not you want to continue modifying an accord?
I think your problem is you need some perspective. Do what you can afford to do. If you want to pay off your college etc then do it. If you want to mod you accord, then do it.
Nick- Who has a hard time listening to people complain when 6 months ago he was on life support.

Blue95 has his **** together.
He has a nice daily driver, nothing fast, but it looks good and it is reliable.
For speed, he didnt **** around and is just getting a bike. Im seriously considering this. How much is it to insure a bike?

160bhp on a bike makes me pop wood.
To tell you the truth, when I hit 150 accidentally, I pissed myself.

Ask yourself if you really love making cars go faster then they intended and look better then you thought. You sond like your just tired of your accord but not tired of spending money on cars. When you die you should be able to say I did everything that I wanted to do (Within my means). Sounds like your ready to move onto bigger power.
It seems like a natural progression. Some of us that have been die hard Honda fans, kinda grow up and grow out of it and move on (Supra, EVO, WRX, bikes, SR20DET's etc). Dollar return investment on a Honda sux. You have to do it for the love, not for anything else, because beyond that it really isn't worth it.
Sounds like you should leave the accord alone and step up to something else. I was feeling this way before (and I still do). I love honda and I'm probably not gonna sell my hybrid (Because of the money I'll lose) but I want a bike and faster toys now. I'm tired of messing with Honda's. I want something else.

The fact is the car is worth more to me than anyone else. I thought of selling and getting something else, but it would end up like the CL.....modded.
Something about pouring yourself into a car. Much more rewarding to me than stamp collecting or some other hobby.
I figure I'll be the guy who is 75 and has a 97 CL in his garage that he takes out once a year or so.
Its too late now, so I'm keeping mine. I'll keep working on her till its a full drag car only if thats what it takes. Hell since I'll have it forever, MIGHT AS WELL PLAY.
thanks. i think ill finish the basic swap and add a small turbo.. nothing super duper and be happy driving a turboed hybrid honda.. i love honda's and the only thing i would do is built another..... nissan maybe but i got honda in my blood.. and if i built anything its the Accord.. i am over half way there.. why stop now. plus if i sell everything.. who says i ll get what i paid for stuff.. you know i wont.. so i dont want to lose more money
