DIY Motor Removal ?
Hey all, i am looking for a DIY on how to pull the motor from the top with a cherry picker/ engine hoist.
I have a 03 LX D17A1 and i did a clutch job on it a few months ago. I left the motor in and simply slipped the motor mounts and cracked the transmission about 3-5 inches in order to swap the clutch, resurface the flywheel and replace a bad through out bearing (so i thought). Now a few months later, i have realised that i should of replaced the input shaft bearing as well as its what is my primary problem. Basically i am no stranger to a wrench but i am a little vague on all the details for a full engine and trans removal. If any of you could point me to a DIY on a motor pull it would be greatly appreciated.
* I have tried the search engine and i have no returned any results that will assist me.
Thanks
