Default Any experience with Suspension Techniques rear sway bar?

The front one was a simple take-off-old-and-put-on-new kind of job. The rear bar comes with brackets, eyebolts, modification of lower strut crap and all sorts of stuff.

I'm going to tackle it this weekend, so I was wondering if anyone has an idea if it's a BIG pain in the *** or not. Any tips?

Oh... it's a '91 Civic EX.

No way it's totally easy. However you need to smash off the welded nut on your strut, I did this to my new struts prior to installing them so it was easy. But what I did was take a dremel and cut around the nut, then take a pry bar and hammer and smash it off. If you just unbolted your strut from the lca it might be easy enough. Or actually maybe take it to a shop because with an impact chisel I bet it would smash it right off.

Aside from that it is a straight bolt on. L-Brackets attach to your struts, and 2 more on the tow hooks. And the bar just mounts up to those. Very easy and worth the time and money!

SWEET. Thanks.

I have the front one on now, and it has the factory rear bar, but the damn thing just feels like it handles weird.

Sunday it is, then. Thanks again.

i just used an angle grinder to cut it off. don't even think about using a chisle and hammer as they suggest. put a lot of grease on the bushings. set the swaybar to it's stiffest setting and us a jack to compress teh suspension on the side you're working on to connect the lca to the bar.
