Default EM1 GC/Koni Setup lowering?

I have a 2000 EM1 and just purchased some koni/gc with default spring rates. I'll be putting on 17" wheels during the summer. What is a good drop (in inches) on the car to be lowered without rub and have a decent smooth ride.

Also what settings on the koni is best for daily driving.

Sorry if this question has been asked, been looking around.

1''-2''?? What series tries do you have?

Also the hole smooth ride and what koni setting depends on the person. Some may like it on full stiff and other full soft, we dont know what you like.

Drive it around and change the settings untill you find what you like.

If the wheel offset and tire size is correct, you can lower the car to "tucking tire" height without rubbing issues. You probably don't want to go that low though, since you'll bottom out the front suspension on large bumps.

What setting to use for the Koni shocks is subjective. Start off on full soft, dive the car (it should feel under damped with OTS GC rates), and turn the front up in small increments until it feels over damped, then back off slightly. Repeat for the rear.

I would set it with no gap no tuck. Especially on big 17's. Should ride nice and not bottom out if you still have the oem uca.
