I own a del sol. When i start driving, my car revs up really slow and it's getting to the point where everyone passes me up a lot on the road. At the moment, i have to replace my vtec solenoid gasket since it's leaking a bit and i have to clean out my throttle body and CAI since i tried messing with the little brass screw when my car kept stalling. it's not stalling anymore since i did that, but it tries to hit 0 when i stop at a stop light sometimes causing my motor to want to cut in and out, so i know in fact i have to clean out the throttle body, didn't get to it yet since i have to have another throttle body gasket in hand. I'm thinking maybe if i do all of that, it should be fine again? idk.
And pressing the accelerator harder than i really had to before to get my car going is sucking up my gas like crazy, so it's making my gas mileage really bad. i paid 17 dollars for gas 2 days ago, and it barely made it to the middle mark and it doesn't take much money to fill up a del sol's gas tank.
what do you guys think?
