adjusting headlights? ('96 gsr)
Hi
I had to replace my passenger headlight assembly, and the shop didn't adjust the veritcality (is that a word?) of my headlights. I popped the hood and checked them out, and I see a compartment in the headlights that contains a screw and some bubble-levels.. I assume this is the screw that adjusts the angle of the light? The problem is, I can't seem to open the glass cover for this compartment. It has three small notches around the outside that I suppose are for gripping and turning, but I wanted to make sure on the board before I do anything stupid. Does anyone know how to open the glass/plastic top to this compartment?

You don't opent he glass compartment thingy. There should be a metal wheel with teeth on the that turns. Use a screwdriver to turn it, that should adjust the beam.
I would used a drill with an extension bit on it, otherwise you are gonna be there for awhile. I forgot wich direction is which though... ?i think clockwise elevates the lights? Also, don't rely on the bubbles (mine were waaay off)... instead take your car out to an empty road at night and go from there.
Peace
