HELP DIZZY....

Default HELP DIZZY....

alright i've searched every place! i have a 90 crx.....the guy who i bought it from had a Zc motor in it . i took that out cause the motor blew. i put a d16z6 motor in it and i got the obd0-obd1 harness blah blah for the ecu...i got the two white wires connected right.... i have two wires left.... blue/yellow and blue green......???????

was the car not wired for mpfi with the previous zc?

well i know the resistor box for the injectors is still used? its all weird im used to my old b-16 not this stuff lol

the harness all matches up with the z6 connectors

ok so where are these wires left over at? are you using an obd1 distributor?

yes obd1 distributor. they are on the distributor side not harness side... do you think i need to just wire them to the ecm

well i went to wire them up to the ecu.... two wires already spliced into the pins i need. well i traced them to some sensor that used to be on the zc head on the exhaust cam... so i cut that connector and connected the two wires to the two colors and still no spark lol....

The DOHC ZC had the Cam angle sensor on the Exhaust cam. HEnce why you have the Blue/ Green Blue/ yellow wires going there. On the Z6 those wires go to the Dizzy from the ECU. Look at the pinouts for the OBD1 or OBD0 and see where they are at the ECU side. From there, run them to the Dizzy to the appropriate location. DOne!

Make sure they arent mixed around.

right.... well the correct pinouts i lloked up had thoes two wires spliced in already and i followed them up and cut that connector. connected the two wires to the two wires from the dizzy and still no spark?

i must be the stupidest ever hahaha after hours of just looking and looking.. i figured out i connected the blue wire to black and black to blue. "two pin connector going into the dizzy... switched them and it fires up...... i am offically a Dumass
