Omni clutch master?
So I went ahead and bought one, should be here in a few days.... Now what I am wondering is has anyone made a replacement for the tube that goes from the M/C to the brake fluid res.? What about the res. itself? mine looks old and crummy, I'll remove it and clean it while I have it all apart, but is there an upgrade I can be making at the same time as the M/C?
Really... well ****. Would I be better off selling it and buying one of those? Or what about running the omni power s2000 unit? Will that just bolt right onto my car? how does the plumbing work on that?
I reused reesivoir, and bought a section aif stainless braided hose and worm clamped it on. By the way I have the omni installed too. Great product except for one drawback. sometimes the pedal doesn't fully retract. I contacted omni directly and made mention of a higher pressure spring for the pedal. They say in about two months they will be available, since I was the fifth person to mention it. however there beefy spring goes in the clutch master it self, which would increase firmness even more. I suggested it be where the pedal is mounted. Either way it is still a good clutch mater. It puts so much force on the clutch spring, and engages in under an inch of pedal travel, great for takeoffs with quick shifting.

I heard that they made one that was a bolt in affair. Usually when you get the S2000 master, the rod is the wrong length, and needs cutting or extending, can't remember. Omni makes the one that is the same, but with a different push rod. As for the res., just get a cover for it. They are all over here and Ebay for around $20.
