Default B16 Head Questions.

I was given a B16 Head, don't know any prior history of it. I have 2 questions ...

1. On the vtec solenoid assembly, there is no vtec oil pressure switch ... is this common with earlier generation or JDM B16 heads?

2. There is no valve spring seats, did honda not use valve spring seats on some of the earlier B16 heads ... and the valve springs would just rest against the head?

Thanks!

the oil pressure switch thing is ok true jdm heads dont use it you just have to bypass it on the ecu if anything as for the seats im pretty sure that they do and must use them the seller just didnt include them or some other **** ...
besides that check the head for warpage and get yourself a port and polish and new valvetrain and your good to go

Just wanted a second opinion on the valve spring seats, before I start pulling the valve springs (head is on block already). Thanks.
