EP3 has a K20A3, probably about 140 whp. The D17A2 probably has about 111 whp.

the EP3 would be faster i believe. I think the Rabbit's only put out about 140 hp, not too sure though. Test drive one and find out which you like best.

 

Man i wish my car put out 111 whp, Feels like it barleys pushes out 90 whp.

hahaha, its not fast, but i wouldn't say its slow.

Either way, thats roughly what it has by doing the 10-15% loss to the powertrain

 

But that's the thing between me and a person that is trying to make there d17 fast, Yeah you can make them fast but you will put some money out. If i wanted to go faster i would buy a k24. So id rather be low and slow. No tickets are good tickets.

Sure but i mean i'd be DOWN to having a K24/K20 in my ES3 haha. Its not like your going to be killing your car ever second your in it......at least i hope not haha

Lol, these little d17a2 puts out 128 to the flywheel and feels like 90 hp to the weels and even slower while ac is on. These car can barely handle AC in the cities haha. But still, 35+MPG is a great substitute for being fast haha.

 

I never use AC, minus when the girlfriend wants it haha

 

AC is a must since it's summer now... Well, unless it's night time, but still, night time can still be pretty bad.

 

Well mine is Dx, so i just have a 1.7 non vtec, all you hear is intake rawring lol, i love the sound of a intake, But thats besides the point.

As for AC, meh, just a waste of gas and performance. Just roll down the windows (H)

 

Air conditioner? HAHA i work outside 10hr days, You know what i do "260"... 2 windows down 60mph
