car is '97 ek with obd1 jdm gsr
The car shut of while driving and would crank but not start, 15 mins or so later it would fire up and run for a little while and then shut off again. I replaced the icm with nology profire ignition module and coil, car ran fine for 8 months or so. Last night same problem came back. Engine was missfiring, tach was jumping all over the place and then the engine shut off. Cranked and no start, then started and back fired and then shut off. 15 mins later the car fired right up and idled no problem, checked for codes and pulled a code 15. I let the car sit over night and this morniing it fired up and I drove it 10 miles home with no problem.
Help please before I just use a stick of tnt to fix the situation.

Other than what Honda Parts hero said, you might have a wire wiggling some where and ground itself shorting out the ECM, it would be rare it would last that long and happen again but anything is possible.
