Best setup for 17x7 +40mm?
I have a 2000 Civic hatch, offset is +40 and the rims are 17x7..
I want to lower the entire thing by about 2 inches, I don't want any rubbing to occur, so with leaving the camber alone, would it be negative enough to clear the fenders? Do I have to buy a camber kit to make it even MORE negative?
Also, I'm looking for the cheapest setup possible, roads are good, not looking for amazing ride quality.. Coilovers are not an option due to price.
Could I just swap the springs for now, and down the road replace the shocks? Best bang for my buck, what is it?
Thanks for any help!

You could just swap the springs but you will want shocks to go with.
Look at eibach, tein, h&r, progress
but those rims are pretty freaking big wether you will rub or not i dont know.

Alright, well currently the wheels are a few mm wider than the fenders, so with 0 camber lowered 2 inches it would be very bad..
So dropping it 2 inches and leaving the camber how it sits would be fine? Also, leaving the negative camber is okay, but I need an alignment done from what I understand? To avoid uneven tire wear?
Thanks again.
