I was told the car had skunk2 cams, well i checked the end of the cams and theres nothing stamped at the ends. Well i just took the valve cover off and one cam has nothing writen on the cam and the other has a M on one side and on the other side theres a 2.

Do stock cams have that stamped on them?

So you checked the distributor end of the cams? What stage are those skunk cams supposed to be?

 

yeah theres no markings on the cam ends. The kid thought they we re skunk2 pro1s. But it wasnt him that put them in it was the guy before.

Did you see the pictures, do stock GSR cams have a M and 2 stamped on them?

 

They're definitely not pro 1's. The only other possibility might have been stage 1 tuner cams but they had an "S" not an M stamped on the cams if memory serves. Those are stock cams I believe.
