My 1996 Accord needs a new Oxygen sensor- Bank 1 Sensor 2 replacement. Since I only replaced the one in the exhaust manifold last year, where is the rear one? I was told it is after the Cat, but looked underneath briefly, and noticed there were more than 1 Cat (I think).

Exactly where on the exhaust on my 1996 Accord 4 cylinder is the rearward O2 sensor?

The Cat is the one that is closest to the engine. The second "cat" is the resonator and then the muffler @ the rear.

2nd O2 (DX/LX) #30



1st O2 #28, 2nd O2 #29 (EX 4 cyl)

This is assuming you don't have a V6
