93 eg hatch d15b7 down on power
I bought it like this, so it isnt something that just happened out of the blue...
It has 200K miles, and I've done a pretty complete tune up.
I actually thinking it is possible the cat collapsed in the exhaust.
what do you guys think?
Is there a way to test it?

um....crawl under there and see if it sounds like it collapsed in on itself like a neutron star! or take the cat out and check to see by looking through it.
otherwise just take into account that the b7 was only designed to make 106whp. hahah

well, I have a bone stock 91 crx dx with, essentially, the same motor and also 200K miles.
It is quite a bit quicker than the eg.
Plus I've driven other cars with similar hp to a dx, and this is definitely down on power.
What do you do for the cat...hit it and listen for rattling or something?
