ok so im doing my homies rack and pinion on his 92 civic si and im having problems pulling it out everything is loose and unbolted but the only thing blocking it is the steering shaft do i need to drop the subframe to remove the rack ?? if so is there any diy or can anybody tell me how to remove it .. thanks any advice will be greatly appreciated

i did this on my 94 integra and i didnt have to drop the frame so i went ahead and helped him out cause i thought it will be some what similar lol
