Okay I had 17s on my 94 teg and i sold them because i wanted some 15s instead and now my brother is saying i have to get a whole new suspension! I currently have megan racing lowering springs and some kinda struts in the back idk what kind.. So is what my brother saying true?? and if not then what do i do exactly??

only reason u need to worry about changing susp is

-IF u are going to bigger or wider wheels because it might rub


going smaller wheel have nothing to do with susp, so please pimp and hoe slap your brother for telling you misinformation.

 

the only reason to change would be to lower it some more due to having a smaller diameter wheel...i'm having the same issue with 18s, cuz im gonna go to 16s. i'm prolly gonna have an extra inch in wheel gap going back to basically a stock diameter, so i'm gonna have to lower it an inch to close the gap, plus the inch or so lower because of a smaller wheel. you could get fat tires, but not sure if you wanna go there.

 

yea thanks!! it was damn near to the ground when i had the 17s on it and it rubbed real bad.. what do i need to do to correct this issue while adding the size 16s to the mix

 

correct rubbing? raise it up, lower profile tires, roll fenders, or deal with it.
