Default 88 DX Getting a b16a

Im about to drop a b16a into my 88 civic DX, however before i start ripping everything apart i need to ask a few questions, i did a bit of research and didnt find my exact questions.

The motor is a JDM B16a first gen, with cable transmission, stage2 clutch, and a lightened flywheel, i got this car from a friend and have driven the car before.

The car the b16a is comming out of is sitting in my Driveway, its a wrecked 91 Integra 4 door, the car was originally a automatic but was converted to manual transmission.

My main question here would be the whole converting to MPFI from DPFI, for the wiring harness its self does this really apply to me? do i need to get a SI top end harness?? or would the b16 harness be suffeicent?

Also if someone could lead me to a working link of a good b16 swap writeup WITH pictures.

Thanks.

look in the FAQ's

you can do either of the following:
convert your DPFi harness to mpfi; or
snag an si engine harness, with matching under dash harness and dash harness.

i first did the mpfi conversion by re-wiring my dpfi harness. then for a cleaner look i used an entire car harness from an si crx, but i did this for referee purposes. i didnt want the referee telling me i wired something wrong.

but search before you ask a question that is in the FAQ's

Hm, not sure if you just like getting your posts up by copying everything else everyone else says, but i've searched, and i've read nearly every faq about doing a bseries swap, and the mpfi conversion, so Instead of flaming, how about less of an *** and more helpful, mkthx. gg

Of you are having this much trouble converting to mpfi, maybe you should spend the money and sent your harrsses in to rywire and have them do the wiring for you.

I'll make it easy on you....
Add in 2 wires for distributor
add 2 sets of wiring for injectors
wire up a resistor box (unless your gonna go obd1/2 injectors)
wire up a secondary o2 sensor (if you want to do a full obd0 b16a conversion, but it's not needed)

See I got your lazy *** started, now go search
