Am I Missing Something?!?!
I bought a set of Depo headlights and I have some questions regarding the product because I just cant see this working how I want it to.
I received the product knowing I would need to set up my wiring for city lights... no biggie, thats easy stuff.
I start comparing it to my OEM headlamp... I unplug the corner light socket and try putting the new bulb it. Ok so it doesnt fit. I compare the bulbs and notice the one from Honda is a 3496/1157 bulb with two metal tabs, one for the parking light and one for the corner light, and the one I was given looks like a 1156 bulb, which only has one metal tab for the corner lights and this makes sense since ther will now be city lights. Ok so whatever, Ill just go get a socket at vatozone. So then I take a look at the city light... well no socket again. I do some research and I will need to buy a 168/194 socket and a pair of bulbs. Again, no big deal, Ill just go to Autozone.
So i head to Autozone and find the bulbs (obviously) but both the sockets for the 168/194 bulbs and the 1156 bulbs are nonexistant. I ask two guys working there and they say they dont have it, only the pigtails for headlight sockets.
Now this is where I start to question how I will get this running. Does anyone know where I can get a socket to fit a 168/194 bulb that will plug ino the city light hole and a socket for a 1156 bulb for the corner lights??? I tried searching but have not stumbled across anything. Im pretty stumped

why not just wire up the city light and corner lamps correctly instead of trying to jimmy-rig it??

i like the city lights. i mean if i cant find the socket ill definitely just plug the holes and keep it on the corner lights but i really like the way they look. even then i can just tap the wire going from the corner light to the city light but id rather have the right socket. im **** about wiring lol
