can i put wiring harness from 98 VTi into DC2 ITR??

i got 99 DC2 ITR motorles boddy and also a 98 VTi sedan boddy b16a2.

what im gonna use from the 98 is the motor, ecu and eninge harness.

the harness to the tail lights are good in the teggy and also the litle harness with all the plugs for the cluster, clock and that.

but the wiring harness in the integra that runs across the interior firewall and connects into the ecu is badly damage and also is the harness that goes into the hood to the head lights. So can i use the harness from the VTi instead??????????

You might try this question in the Hybrid forum to get more answers. The way I see it, is it's a DOHC Vtec B-series OBD2 motor, and that is what's in an ITR stock. I'd say it "MIGHT" work depending on size, emissions equipment and such. I'm not 100% certain though.

Im pretty sure that the harness from a civic 96-00 wont work on a dc2 chassi, someone correct me if im wrong.

 

No. 96-00 Civic's have a one-piece harness that goes directly to the ECU via a boot in the firewall.

92-95 Civics, and 94-01 Integra's have a two-piece harness that plugs into the dash harness via leads from inside the cabin.

 

so i can use the harness from 92 civic??

You'll want to use a harness that has the correct plugs for your year motor. If your motor is OBD2, you'll need an Integra harness.

does it metter if its from a gsr or a ls ?

GSR will have the vtec solenoid plug where an ls wouldn't.
