hello fellow ITR owners, i need your guidance on a dilemma i have. ive recently built me a type r out of my 94 ls integra(shaved moldings,itr lip,jdm itr motor,98+ bumpers etc) and no matter what it still doesnt complete me...BUT...ive been searching to buy a real ITR and i found one the other day...its a black ITR bone stock...stock height,no engine mods,etc..and its a lady named "alyssa lewis" selling it. she says her mom has cancer thats why she's selling it so cheap. cheap...like...$2400 cheap. no typo. i asked her the price and if it was a typo she said "thats the right price $2,400" im thinking to my self..thats a hell of a deal! and id be helping her out. her mom has cancer i donate 2400 and im happy with an ITR. BUT c'mon really? a REAL DEAL ITR for 2400? here the links and the carfax she sent me via email.

notice it doesnt have ITR floor matts, and the vin says its a GSR not a type R

 

2400 is cheap either way if type-r or NOT! but if it is, then ur a theft for buying a cheapass R! jk

 

Right above the VIN it states "Integra GS-R"!?...

 

possibly a scam but if the car in right in front of you and they have a title right there for the car then buy it, otherwise your gonna get ripped

 

The VIN is of a GSR, not an ITR. Great deal still...be careful not to get scammed.

i arranged with the girl/guy to meet in tenneesee to see and test drive the car since its free shipping of her business within 500 miles, so ill see how it goes and if she flakes

thats a fake post ive seen those pics before on an ebay auction for a real itr he had some pics of the vin too and they dont match with the one your giving and if you can meet her locally why dont you just pick it up then and there

 

Escrow service is the key words to a scam. I have seen many of them. The escrow service is probably the girl's friend.

 

theres no way in hell i would fall for this...COME ON $2,400 for a ITR??? you can see clearly on the carfax it says integra GSR!!!! but that is one clean @ss ITR IN THE PICS!! haha

I am talking to the same person. I was searching google to find out more about this scam. I found this honda-tech page. I wrote her and told her I was gonna fly out there to pick up the car just to see what she was gonna say. She said she was in Oklahoma City. Here is what she wrote me in an email:
