Default Need Help for Spoon Monoblock fitment issues.

Hi all,

I just want to ask if there is any difference between the marked left and right calipers? What i trying to say i got a set of MBF -G01 spoon monoblock calipers and each has got a sticker on it says RIGHT and LEFT.

The problem i got here is, i am going to install it on my DC5 as REAR mount, while the kit was meant to go on DC2/EK9 etc as FRONT mount. So i was thinking, if i treat the right as left and left as right, it seems like problem solved.

Can i do that? Sorry if i made a fool of myself because i am really a newbie.

Any inputs will be much appreciated.

The Spoon calipers made for DC2/EK9 are *twin block*. Is that what you meant?

You have to watch out for the direction of the rotor versus the piston sizes. The rotor should go from the smaller piston to the larger piston. Also, the bleeders should face up. When you start switching left and right, things might get screwed up.

thanks for the input guys.

The monoblock i got it was DC2/EK9 according to the part number, apparently spoon DO have monoblock as well as twin block for dc2~

what i am asking is, i can place them on the right position in order to mount them on the rear position of the front rotor, thats like the 2,3, 4 oclock position if you looking at a rotor. But is that technically possible ??
