On my back hatch door where the hydraulic lifter things are suppose to be i dont have them. and on the hatch itself where the lifter things go (idk if thats what there called) the driver side screw in hole where youd put on in totally is missing the threads to screw it in. I havnt bought new lifters yet because i dont wanna order them and have them not work because only 1 will hold. Does anyone know if only one will hold? and if not does anyone know how i could solve this hole where the threads use to be?

 

one will hold, but will wear out quicker.. but if you order a set then you have an extra

 

Thanks man! does anyone know how to like put new threads in? ill take a picture tom so can kinda get an idea. because i dont want it to look ghetto eather haha.

 

well, theres a nut welded inside but if it did what mine did it came unwelded and fell.. i havnt found a fix for that

 

I had the same thing happen to me. When i ordered the new rams they came with another nut for the little ball thing to screw into, i just welded the new nut in the hole where the old one used to be.

 

Alright cool. do you happen to know where your ordered yours from? i just saw some cheap ones on ebay and was thinking about that.

 

got mine from O'reilly auto parts, very good quality my hatch springs open no problem now.

 

yup there like 30 bucks each =/
