So i got a b20z2 gsr vtec in my dc2...NEED HELP plz

Im contemplating buying crane stage 2 cams...good idea?

Also contemplating buying a p06 chipped ecu to replace my obd2 gsr ecu...+/- ??

Also......

I changed my exhaust from a dc header w/ cat, and some thin stock piping that goes into 2 1/2 inch piping with vibrant flat black tip to:
~type r exhaust manifold
~delete cat
~delete stock piping with 2 1/2" diameter piping all the way back to..
~greddy evo 2 muffler

I cant fully feel the power gain but i know its there and my rpms climb faster...driven once so far

Am i helping or hurting my build?

 

Well i couldnt tell you if your hurting or helping because im not sure with the b20's i've been into single's but a b20z build is the next one im getting ready for so i would love to know how your build works out for you, i could use some good input also.. GL with the build..

 

You can't run aggressive cams with stock B20 pistons cause V2P becomes an issue. Not to mention you'll need to actually tune the car with aggressive cams instead of just running someones program (chip).
Do some research... build the motor correctly, and swoop a Hondata!
