Default Rack n pinion question

hello i have a 93 honda civic CX with a GSR and evrytime when i go over 75mph the steering wheel starts to vibrate and shake alot and it seems like it vibrates from the wheels to the sterring wheels. I have done about everything i can think off to fix the problem but it has not done anything to it.
So far this is what i have done:
Bought new tires, mount and balanced
replace new motor mounts
alignment
replace new brakes and rotors
replace new axles

I think i do have a bad rack n pinion because it makes a nocking noise when i hit little bumps on the road.
My question is will a bad rack n pinion cause all that vibrations/shaking at 75mph and above??

sure.

install a new rack end bushing.

tighten the pinion before youre finished.

done. $15 in parts. lots of labor and annoyance but the learning curve is steep. totally doable tho.
