Default Looking to buy a 4th gen

hey guys, i was thinking of getting a 4th gen and came across this one

http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ207947818

i was just wondering if thats a reasonable price, and seeing as its a swapped motor, if theres anything in particular that i should be asking about.

thanks

Price is about right. Has high mileage, besides the swap. Which if the engine was rebuilt probably has high miles as well. Rust in the rear quarter panels will be a pain and you have to get it fixed or it will grow. Make sure car is functional and all the little things are functional ie power windows and roof, no Check Engine Lights/SRS lights/leaks. Check bushings (they are annoying as h*** when they are going and a pain to replace about $800). Also check for more rust spots, n e more than whats visible id say dont even bother. Although i would say dont even bother with it period there are alot better ludes you can get for a little more. (save you alot of trouble in the long run) Oh one last thing is my .02 is that if the person who owns it doesnt care enough about the car to get the rust fixed while it was minimal how did they treat the car throughout its life?

I think that the rust is the only factor here, but hey, for Calgary, alot of cars are in way worse shape. Also, the mileage isn't that bad, seeing as it is KM not Miles. My 93 has 208 K Miles, and is holding together ok overall. If you are interested and want a second opinion, shoot me a message, and I can take a look at the car and give my thoughts.
