Currently building a GSR capable of 220hp currently have 2.5" cat back with no resonators to usdm ITR muffler & its bottle necked. I have a super fresh Greddy Evo 2 muffler in my garage but scared of the attention CHP will give me will resonators hurt my performance ? Should I paint my evo2 matt black or get the vibrant 2.5 inlet muffler & run resonators I have the integra evo2 resonators still but they are 60mm will this be another bottle kneck issue I cant handle my hollow raspy straight pipe sound anymore & gonna dyno my car soon will 1 make more power than the other or should I go another route

i would put a resonator,then just use the muffler you have!and honda exhaust(all motor) need a cat or a resonator,imo!i only run a resonator no muffler,sounds great cruising,and wakes up the whole block popping vtec!

 

I have JDM 2.5 ITR cat with 2.5 piping to 2.36 USDM ITR MUFFLER which is why its bottle necked Im wondering if ill loose power by adding the resonator(s) & want some info on the vibrant anyone have any experience with these ?

Ya im going with fresh mandrel bent 2.5" piping to Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator to Vibrant 2.5 steet power stealth muffler should be better than my bottlenecked current setup my car should throw down similar #'s as yours when my builds done
