yo was up guys
well i got this problem with my crx it has a b16a
and the problem is that the car wont stay on it turns on
but like in 5-10 seconds the car turns off its starts like to bog off
any suggestion of what the problem might be?? thanks in advance

 

It's hard to diagnose a problem like this over the computer but I got a few ideas. Check fuel make sure you have plenty of fuel pressure, check timing, take the spark plugs out see if there fouled smell them see is they have gas on them, might as well run a compression check while your at it. Check all Vacuum lines. When did the problem start? Were you driving? give a little more info on problem , how the swap was done, etc.

 

Sounds fuel related. Pump giving out maybe?

 

well recently i had my distributor change on it and it turn on and everything it was working fine and out of nowhere it just wont stay on! idk

Take the distributor car off and see if the rotor came loose it happened to me before I changed the dizzy without checking the rotor or points was driving car shut off would nt start opened the dizzy and there it was rotor bolt had backed out and rotor was flopping around loose

 

is it throwing codes?? remember a car needs air, fuel and spark .... i would start off by checking the easiest things first.. believe me ive seen blocked air intake hoses and the cars will bog out so do easy steps first
