Default Rear balance shaft drive gear

94 accord lx. I have an oil leak at the lower end of the timing cover. I replaced the timing belt and components about 2 years ago along with the cam seal, crank seal and front balance shaft seal, but didn't remove the rear balance gear case to change the o-ring seal. I don't have the cover off yet, but I am guessing that maybe the oil is coming from the gear case. I priced the oring at $4 and the gear case at about $160. Question is... if it's the gear case that's leaking, is there a seal behind the balance sprocket that can be changed? i don't want to change the oring and still have a leak, and I don't want to spend $160 on the case if I can replace a seal inside it.

thanks

The most common cause of a leak of this type is the case o-ring. Replace it, I'm sure you'll be fine.
