ok i just bought a full a6 long block, complete intake manifold, an si wire harness, tranny, si map sensor, need a dizzy and resistor box.. my car is a dx so what is my first step? other than getting all my parts.. do i even use the whole wire harness or just bits and pieces? will my axles work? the tranny is an 88 si.. im confused with the mpfi cuz im not just adding the manifold im putting doing the entire motor swap. so do i put the motor in with si harness off then hook up the dx wires until i need the wires from the si one? the wire harness is on the a6 manifold now and idk what goes where.. im a little lost anything would help

 

from what ive read and tried to understand. your going to use the new SI harness and take parts of it and put it on ur old harneess

 

i have a pm6 ecu and complete si dizzy for sale in my sig below if you need them...!!!

 

use your stock dpfi harness and modify it according to work with the mpfi setup.

i just dont know where all the dx plugs will go and what to take off the si one.. also how hard it is to put axles in th etranny and a clutch in there? if anyone knows the tranny is off the motor.. i just hope the tranny i have works w. the motor i have and the d15 axles work

 

does the motor have to be the same year as my a6 motor? my tranny is an 88 si i believe so would i just need a clutch kit then bolt it to the motor then put the tranny on?
