Default Slammed and flush questions!

Ok so i come from a drifter/vw world where every car needs to be flush (that is where your fender meets your stretched tire or rim lip)
And i know everyone swears up and down on koni/gc setups. Which dont get me wrong i think they are legit setup for the price.

But my main concern is since im running a 16x8 with a 0 offset on my ek im worried that the koni/gc will rub/**** up my rim lip.

Would i b better running PIC Apex for roughly the same price?
Since its a full body coilover?

PLEASE HELP IVE SEARCHED AND I CANT FIND ANYTHING TO HELP!
Yes i did search the slammed thread but mostly its just super low civic/teg's slamming the ish out of there cars on 15x7+40 offset...not what im trying to accomplish

get a normal 35ish offset and wola no more problem or people making fun of you for having a tijuana car

i mean, i've set up quite a few cars and will not even consider trying it if the person is driving on 0 offset.

how does the type of coilover you're using affect the drop? both lower the height of the car the same way. you are going to have rubbing problems regardless with a 16x8 +0. tire stretching is frowned upon on this site anyways so you probably wont get much help here.

You should know from your VW/drifting background that its a fine line to get the body, wheel, tires, ride height, etc all in the right places to get the look you want. Mostly takes body work, pull, roll fenders, use camber to get it to fit. I dont approve of this, but its what youre asking.
