My 95 Honda CX Build Thread
Just picked up my 95 CX last night after searching EVERYWHERE for something clean. Picked this one up in Portland after heading to look at a different one and was promised a clean car which ended up being nothing like he said it was. But anyways heres some quick pics of my find.
Its bone stock. The only thing ive seen that hasnt been factory was the aftermarket cassette player and the shift **** lol. Its got 148k on it, clean title, and I picked it up for $1700. The only issue ive found is that the paint is getting pretty light in some areas almost to a pink.
The first thing I think im gonna do is lower it, throw my HX's on it then probably get a motor swap. The CX's sure werent built for speed haha.

Dont really have a big update but I put my HX's that I had left over from my EK. Then last weekend I finally had a chance to wash and wax.
Still cant believe how clean the body is. All the other Hondas ive had have been neglected or modded so its nice to start from a clean slate.
I was planning on picking up my motor swap this weekend but wouldnt have enough for all the little unexpected parts that come with a swap . So hopefully ill be able to get it next payday

So I found a complete GSR swap out of another EG hatch that I should be picking up tonight and hopefully swapping in tomorrow.
The swap didnt include the ecu but I was able to find a chipped Obd1 P72 ecu chipped with crome with a gsr basemap, launch control, and cel shift light for $100. Tested it on my friends hatch and he loved it
