Best and Cheap paint for my 1993 Si Hatchback?
Recently I bought a 1993 Si Hatchback shell. I have been working on it to get it empty for the big paint job. Outside and inside too. So i wanna ask you guys what is your recommendation on which car paint brand that is best and cheap?
If you want something that's a good quality yet fairly inexpensive, go to your local OReilly's store and see if they are a DuPont Jobber.
The DuPont Nason line is a fairly good quality which you can go with either a base clear or single stage system in the same family of paint. Or you could jump up to the ChromaBase line, which is quite a bit more expensive yet its much better for color matching.
Or you can call up Summit Performance and get some of their urethane single stage paint(all facpac colors).
Like nsxter said, best and cheap don't go together in the body business.
Best, Cheap, and Quick, remember you can only chose two of those.

I agree with above you have to find a happy medium. To get something cheap you will have to sacrifice quality and the same goes for finding soomething that looks good then the price will have to be sacrificed.

i recently painted my 93 civic hatch and i used nason base with spi clear. it came out really really good.
Well then I would suggest the Summit brand acrylic urethane single stage or the DuPont nason brand.
or PPG and BASF have their cheaper lines also, all depends on what you have in your area and what you feel comfortable using/paying for.
