i know this, i know a place that can fab my axles but is very spendy.
i also know i can user a donor teg and cut everything i need for the mounts. or i could start from scratch and weld my own.
there is many ways to go in any part of this build. im just trying to figure out the most sturdy and reliable way to build this car.
its a lot to ask for, but im trying to find someone with real expierence in the old school/fab department that could give some advice. im not dumb i just need some help.

hat?I'm not old school in the fab dept or anything but anyone that was would ask you : Build this car for what? : drag, roadrace, drift, autocross, ultimate sleeper, daily driver? The most sturdy and reliable for what?

daily driver, but i still want good power. i can build this ls/v to last, and i can keep it prestine. the question is how do i build it right so im not twisting axles all the time and worried about droppin my motor on the freeway. i really want this car to last a long time. i just need someone who has actually fabbed this type of stuff. any knowledge helps though
yeah i have had that guy bookmarked for a while, seems he has ditched his thread. his posts are very helpful though.
oh well just keep searchin i geuss. . .

alright so its taken me way too long to rebuild this motor but its only spark plugs away from being started. i also cleaned out the bay, fixed the horn, fixed windshield washers and fixed some other little things as well. starting to clean her up.
here is some pictures of the new EM1 in a clean(er) engine bay

if it were me i would keep it OE
also the engine bay looks really small for the type of swap he wants to do so i don't know whether or not it would be possible.. thought with enough money anything is
it is possible for sure. there is two very popular second gens and they bothe have b series turbo. i am just hoping some nostalgia king is gonna stumble upon this thread and give me the advice i need haha.
anyways im sending the ls block out in a week to be acid dipped, trying to find a good b16 head as well.
and i know gatoraxles makes perfect axles to what ever length you want, and i know im going to have to fab my mounts, im just trying to figure out if i should cut up a teg and steal most of the engine bay or go gnarly and weld everything myself.
im not a complete rookie im just looking for some advice.
but any input helps,
cheers
