whats the difference between the black and red top ones?

 

They have FWD / RWD / AWD I believe depending on what car it was in, as the motor went into a ton of differant cars.

but, can someone tell me whats the difference between the black and red tops. is the red top for s15's?

 

s13 = red top
s14 = black top

More whp on the black over the red top. let me try to find the specs

 

the black top's typically in the kouki 180sx (96.5+). the black top in the s14 is a different engine with variable valve timing (mad vtec?) and it has a hump on the top of the valve cover and a slightly different turbo (?).
